📋 Job Overview
As an SAP Treasury & Payment Controls Consultant at IBM Consulting, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP solutions, focusing on payment controls and fraud prevention. You will work closely with clients to deliver high-quality solutions and manage a team of SAP consultants to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery. 🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Leading the technical design, development, and implementation of SAP solutions for simplicity, amplification, and maintainability that meet client needs
- Lead and manage high performing team of SAP consultants to deliver work products on time, budget, and quality
- Involvement in strategy development and solution implementation, leveraging functional expertise of SAP with clients and team members and working with the latest technologies
- Centralizing, validating, and monitoring payments before they are released to banks
- Adding a layer of control and security over payment flows that pass through BCM, MBC, or IHC
- Validating and filtering payments before they reach BCM
- Defining validation rules with Treasury and Compliance, including approval limits by amount, payment rules according to currency or country, and blacklist validations
- Designing the payment approval or hold flow
- Configuring control scenarios for internal vs. external payments and urgent vs. scheduled payments
✅ Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as an SAP FSCM Consultant
- Expertise in Advanced Payment Management (APM)
- Strong knowledge of payment workflows, fraud prevention, and compliance processes
- Hands-on experience designing approval flows and configuring payment control scenarios
- Excellent collaboration skills with Finance, Treasury, and Compliance stakeholders
