Join IBM's Security Engineering Team as a Platform Security Engineer to build and own security features for the Astra suite of products. Work on challenging security and scalability issues in a multi-cloud environment, collaborating with internal teams throughout the project lifecycle. 🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Designing, estimating, building, shipping, and owning security features in Astra suite of products
- Developing deeper expertise in authentication, encryption, and access control functions
- Providing consultation for other parts of the organization
- Providing on-call support for the components owned by the team on a rotational basis
- Working closely with the Product Management and Product Engineering teams to deliver high quality features on a predictable timeline
✅ Required Qualifications
- Solid coding skills in one of these languages: Golang, Java, or Python
- Good understanding of large-scale distributed systems & microservices architecture
- Experience with at least one public cloud environment
- Foundational knowledge on authentication, encryption, and access control functions
- Solid team player who demonstrates initiative, enthusiasm, and positivity
- Quality first and continuous improvement attitude
