📋 Job Overview

The Talent Acquisition Recruiter at IBM Japan Group will drive hiring from Malaysia, engaging in the full recruitment lifecycle including passive candidate search, scouting, and communication with candidates and hiring managers. This role requires collaboration with global Talent Acquisition teams and a focus on hiring qualified talent to build IBM's future. Fluency in Japanese and business-level English is essential.

📍 Location: PETALING JAYA, MY (Remote/Hybrid)

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers and client leaders to understand hiring forecasts and incorporate them into recruitment plans at agreed frequencies
  • Lead role definition meetings with hiring managers and recruiters to discuss recruitment expectations, schedules, and sourcing activities
  • Provide consulting to hiring managers on position requirements and the supply situation of talent in the industry and market, considering the impact on recruitment activities
  • Collaborate with IBM's Sourcing Science team to support the success of sourcing campaigns and related activities
  • Analyze platform data to identify methods for improving and optimizing recruitment performance, sharing best practices across the account team

✅ Required Qualifications

  • 3-year-long or longer experiences in Talent Acquisition, including direct sourcing activities
  • Close-to-native level of Japanese language proficiency
  • Business level of English language proficiency
  • Interest in IT & Consulting industries

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

  • Practical skills in computer operation and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in recruitment within the Consulting and IT services industry
  • Experience in planning and operating recruitment-related events
  • Experience in planning and implementing recruitment branding enhancement strategies
  • Business level of English proficiency (reading and writing required)
