As a Technical Product Manager for Storage Networking at IBM, you will lead product strategy and development for IBM Infrastructure's Storage Division. Your role involves defining product capabilities, managing the product lifecycle, and collaborating with various stakeholders to drive product success and market growth.

šŸŽÆ Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with customers and other market experts to define capabilities that are needed for their success and support our business strategy
  • Work closely with peer product managers in defining and driving product/business strategy for the IBM Infrastructure, Storage products portfolio to achieve business revenue targets and increase market share in a growing market
  • Work closely with Design to concept delightful user experiences using narratives and well-baked requirements
  • Work closely with Development to document requirements, groom the backlog, forecast releases, plan iterations, and deliver high quality product to end users
  • Develop effective demos for sellers and sales engineers
  • Collaborate with CTPs, sellers, CSMs, Expert Labs, technology partners and business partners
  • Define product vision, roadmap, and feature prioritization for SAN and Data Center Networking solutions
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities
  • Ensure Regulatory, Compliance, and Certification requirements are met for global markets
  • Prepare product collateral, competitive battle cards, and sales kits
  • Manage escalations from Internal and External stakeholders
  • Create awareness among Sales teams, Customers, Business Partners, Technology Partners and Channel Ecosystem through training and enablement programs
  • Work closely with engineering, operations, marketing, and support teams to ensure product success
  • Gather customer feedback and translate insights into actionable product improvements

āœ… Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence people and establish relationships / build rapport with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Exposure to Data Center networking, virtualization, and software-defined networking (SDN)
  • Experience with agile methodologies and product lifecycle management tools
  • Proven ability to manage End to end Product Lifecycle Management that includes product strategy, product operations and delivery and GTM strategy
  • Strong understanding of Ethernet, Fibre Channel, IP networking, and data center architectures
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Broadcom, Juniper, and NVIDIA’s Ethernet and Fiber Channel networking products
  • Familiarity with network protocols, switching/routing, and storage connectivity
  • Experience in developing Storage – Networking Integrated solutions
  • Experience in Supply Chain strategy for procurement, manufacturing readiness, and delivery
