Role Overview

The India Legal Hub Site Lead is the senior leader for CrowdStrike’s India-based Legal team in Pune, India. This full-time role manages a multidisciplinary group of legal professionals supporting global legal operations, commercial work, and compliance initiatives. You will oversee day-to-day operations, drive people leadership, operational excellence, and seamless global collaboration. Ideal for a qualified lawyer with deep experience in team management and scaling legal services in tech or shared services environments. Key Responsibilities

People Leadership and Development

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team handling commercial contracting, compliance, legal operations, and AI enablement. Foster a culture of accountability, inclusion, and growth that mirrors CrowdStrike’s global values. Provide coaching, feedback, and career opportunities while managing staffing, workloads, and succession planning. Champion learning programs and global training to elevate team capabilities.

Operational and Site Management

As the on-site Legal leader in Pune, partner with HR, IT, and Facilities for smooth operations. Establish processes, metrics, and SLAs for high-quality legal support. Oversee system access, knowledge management, governance, and data security. Drive process improvements, tech adoption, and automation to boost efficiency in our remote-first environment.

Legal Oversight and Collaboration

Guide the team on commercial, compliance, corporate governance, and operations matters. Ensure quality and alignment with global Legal policies, templates, and playbooks. Collaborate with global leaders to support business goals, manage escalations, and contribute to strategic planning and resource allocation.

Qualifications & Requirements

Required Qualifications

- Law degree (LL.B. or equivalent) and active license to practice in India
- 10+ years of post-qualification experience, including 5+ years in people management
- Proven track record leading legal teams or service hubs in multinational settings
- Strong grasp of corporate/commercial law, process optimization, and legal operations
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-cultural influence skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in legal service providers, shared services, or in-house tech/SaaS legal teams
- Familiarity with CLM systems, knowledge tools, operational metrics, AI legal tools, and automation
- History of building or scaling global legal delivery teams
