The Indirects Procurement Senior Analyst – Software role at PepsiCo in Mexico City is pivotal for optimizing software procurement across the organization. This position focuses exclusively on software categories, including SaaS, enterprise licensing, renewals, and negotiations. As a Senior Analyst, you will collaborate with S&T, Legal, Finance, and Security stakeholders to source, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and cost efficiencies. This full-time role demands analytical prowess, vendor expertise, and a proactive approach to driving procurement excellence in a fast-paced, global enterprise.
In this role, you will execute end-to-end sourcing strategies for software categories such as SaaS, on-premise licenses, subscriptions, and enterprise agreements. Key duties include leading RFPs and vendor evaluations, negotiating Master Services Agreements, Statements of Work, and Order Forms. You will partner with business units to align software needs with PepsiCo's objectives, manage vendor performance through SLAs and KPIs, and oversee software asset management for compliance. Additionally, track contract lifecycles, identify cost-saving opportunities, maintain procurement records in tools like Selectica and DocuSign, and monitor market trends to inform strategies. Delivering annual AOP productivity targets is essential.
Develop and implement sourcing plans, conduct RFPs, evaluate vendors, and negotiate favorable terms to optimize software spend and mitigate risks.
Build strong vendor relationships, monitor performance metrics, ensure licensing compliance, and manage renewals for seamless operations.
Candidates need a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or a related field. Require 4-5 years of experience in Technology Procurement with a focus on software sourcing, ideally from consulting, finance, or transformation roles. Essential skills include deep understanding of software licensing models (per-user, per-device, subscription, perpetual), experience negotiating with major vendors, analytical abilities, excellent communication, and stakeholder management. Familiarity with contract law, software compliance, and procurement systems is crucial.
