Position Summary
Sonoco is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician for our Horsham facility. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll support production with electrical installations, troubleshooting, and PLC programming on night shifts (12-hour, 3/4/4/3 schedule). Enjoy a starting wage of $32.03 - $37.30/hour, $1500 sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance. Key Responsibilities
As an Industrial Electrician, you'll:
- Install electrical systems in equipment like air compressors, burners, and plant lighting.
- Troubleshoot solid-state circuits, PLCs, transducers, and inspection devices.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and identify electrical issues.
- Program PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens) for optimal operation.
- Assist in designing and installing new equipment.
- Ensure safety compliance and effective team communication.
Required Qualifications
We're looking for candidates with:
- Associate's Degree or equivalent in electronics, plus 3-5 years experience.
- Expertise in PLC programming/troubleshooting, HMI, and industrial networking.
- Knowledge of AC/DC motors, schematics, NEC, and safety protocols.
- Strong logic-based troubleshooting using test equipment and hand tools.
- Ability to work nights, overtime, and maintain positive work relationships.
