Position Summary
Join our Hartselle Wood Plant as an Industrial Maintenance Reliability Technician on the Third Shift (10p-6a, M-F, with some OT). Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll ensure high equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and drive continuous improvements in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Pay range: $32.60-$36.96/hour based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow safety policies, lead by example, and reduce risks in equipment and processes.
- Repair, troubleshoot, and maintain mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and piping systems.
- Develop and execute preventive/predictive maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns.
- Document repairs thoroughly for historical data and future analysis.
- Communicate effectively with operations to resolve issues impacting safety, quality, or productivity.
- Fabricate/install equipment and ensure proper lubrication and housekeeping.
- Participate in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and reliability enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and proactive maintenance skills.
- Ability to read schematics and perform precision installations per OEM specs.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and computer-based documentation.
- Potential for promotion to higher maintenance roles with change implementation mindset.
