Position Summary

Join Sonoco as an Industrial Maintenance Reliability Technician II-III in Greenville, WI. Reporting to the Plant Engineer or Maintenance Supervisor, you will perform proactive maintenance tasks to ensure high-quality, efficient, and timely shipment of Sonoco products. Safety, quality, productivity, and strong work ethics are pillars of our culture. This full-time role offers a competitive wage of $34.84-$39.60/hr on the 3pm-1am shift, with opportunities for overtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain auxiliary equipment as required by production.
  • Maintain (grease, lubricate, PM) and repair utility and facility-related equipment.
  • Assist/train other maintenance personnel with repairs, PMs, and rebuilds.
  • Collaborate closely with departments for proactive problem resolutions.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
  • Manage small projects to maintain or upgrade equipment.
  • Perform all duties in support of Sonoco’s quality and safety policies.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in industrial environment or military experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting, industrial and motor controls preferred.
  • Comfortable with mechanical lifts, ladders, kneeling, bending, twisting; lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Work independently and manage multiple tasks in off-shift position with rotating shifts requiring overtime including weekends.
  • Read blueprints, electrical drawings, and ladder diagrams.
  • Operate forklift and skyjack.
  • Understand three-phase motor circuits and control circuits (PLC, latching, NPN, PNP).
