Job Summary

The Industrial Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in supporting our automated distribution center. You'll diagnose, maintain, and repair industrial electrical, mechanical, and control systems, with a primary focus on conveyor systems, automated material handling equipment, and industrial controls. Limited facilities support is also included. Enjoy a predictable 1st shift schedule with three-day weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair automated conveyor systems, including belt, roller, and sortation equipment
• Diagnose and repair 480V three-phase electrical systems, motor controls, and control circuits
• Troubleshoot industrial control systems, including PLCs, VFDs, sensors, photo eyes, and encoders
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, AGVs, electrical panels, and control cabinets
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and mechanical drawings
• Handle limited facilities maintenance like lighting, minor repairs, and basic HVAC troubleshooting
• Perform mechanical repairs, welding, and metal fabrication
• Document work orders and PMs using CMMS software

Required Skills & Qualifications

Required:

• Associate’s degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or equivalent trade school
• 2+ years in automated distribution centers, manufacturing, or industrial environments
• Hands-on experience with 480V control circuits and industrial electrical systems
• Conveyor systems and automated material handling maintenance
• Safety training for energized equipment and lockout/tagout procedures
• Basic computer skills for CMMS, email, and documentation

Preferred:

• PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
• VFDs and motor controls experience
• Maintenance Connection or similar CMMS
• HVAC certification
• Welding experience
