Role Overview

The Industrial Maintenance Technician - Nights position at PepsiCo in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is a full-time night shift role offering a disclosed salary of $62,920 USD per year ($30.25/hour). This hands-on position involves repairing and installing production and manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced bottling environment. You'll inspect equipment for optimal function, perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer specs, diagnose malfunctions, and make necessary repairs or adjustments. The role demands physical stamina, including frequent lifting, climbing, standing, walking, crouching, squatting, bending, and kneeling, often near heat, noise, gas, and chemicals. Key Responsibilities

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, your primary accountabilities include:

• Collaborating with outside contractors on assigned lines.
• Managing line changeovers for packaging switches.
• Complying with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety protocols, and audit standards.
• Working independently, self-managing tasks, and documenting work schedules and completions.

These responsibilities ensure seamless high-speed production in our Tulsa plant, supporting PepsiCo's commitment to efficiency and quality.

Qualifications & Requirements

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet these basic requirements:

• Be 18 years or older.
• Pass a technical assessment covering job-critical maintenance knowledge areas.
• Have experience with mechanical systems such as gear boxes, chains, sprockets, motors, seals, and bearings.
• Demonstrate experience with product manuals, troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns, and reading mechanical drawings (hydraulics, pneumatics).

Helpful experience includes:

• Basic electrical systems (starters, fuses, relays).
• Compressors/ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Conveyors, airveyors, VFDs, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, and SERVO motors.
• High-speed packaging production, kinematics, schematics, and team-based environments.
