The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for operational excellence in cloud-native environments.Required Qualifications:• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Tempe, AZ, or Raleigh, NC, or Indianapolis, IN, or Richardson, TX, or Providence, RI, or Hartford, CT,. This position may require travel in the US• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.• Lead a team of SREs and platform engineers in managing AWS/Azure cloud environments.• Oversee Kubernetes cluster lifecycle management including upgrades, scaling, and security.• Drive onboarding of applications and teams to container platforms following standardized processes.• Ensure adherence to GitOps principles using tools like Flux.• Guide implementation of storage solutions such as Portworx.• Collaborate with security teams to integrate security controls into Kubernetes environments.• Define and monitor SLAs, SLOs, and error budgets.• Provide technical leadership in observability practices using Grafana, Prometheus, etc.• Mentor team members and conduct regular performance reviews.• Coordinate with stakeholders for incident response and postmortem.• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and integrating security solutions into container platforms is good to have.• Working Knowledge of: • Kubernetes Administration/Architecture• Ingress configuration• NGINX Ingress Controller• GitOps workflows, Flux, and Portworx• Python and Automation Scripting• Certificate Management Tools• Work in PST time zone is required• Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply.
