You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. You will also be required to design an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios. Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Strong understanding of testing processes and testing life cycle Understanding of SDLC and Agile development methodologies.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.Experience in automation with Selenium, Python, Mainframe and API testing, specifically within the telecom domain.Experience testing APIs and using tools like Postman or SoapUI.Familiarity with databases and SQL for data validation.Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Experience with test management tools.Proficiency in bug tracking tools like JIRA, one confluence.​​​​​​Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Unix, Java, Python, Mainframe).Key Responsibilities:Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.Perform manual and automated testing of web, mobile, and desktop applications.Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues.Conduct regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).Analyze test results and provide feedback to improve product quality.Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.Maintain and enhance automated test frameworks and scripts.Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in QA processes.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in QA methodologies and tools.The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
