The role involves working closely with client to troubleshoot issues, managing defect fixes and implementing functional and technical improvements to existing integrations and VBCS extensions. This role requires a hands-on approach with appx. 50% focus on developing new solutions/enhancements and 50% on supporting and maintaining existing integrations and VBCS applications.Required Qualifications:Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Calgary or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.Candidates authorized to work for any employer in Canada without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.Required SkillsMinimum 8 years of IT experience with at least 4 years of hands-on experience in OIC and VBCSProficient in developing integrations using OIC adapters, orchestrations and mappingsDesign and develop solutions using OIC and VBCS for the enhancements/defectsSolid understanding of REST and SOAP web servicesExperience in AMS - supporting, monitoring, troubleshooting and enhancing existing solutionsGood understanding of Oracle Cloud SaaS modules (e.g. ERP, SCM) and their integration patternsGood experience with error handling strategies and ability to perform resubmissions via tools like Postman and SOAP UIStrong communication, problem-solving and analytical skillsPreferred Qualifications: Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams namely, technical, business and management teamsExperience managing team size of 2-3 would be a plusExperience and desire to work in a Global delivery environmentTroubleshoot, analyze and resolve issues in production and non-production environments for OIC and VBCS applicationsCollaborate with business stakeholders and functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutionsWork closely with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and defect resolutionEnsure high-quality, scalable and maintainable code adhering to best practices and coding standardsMentor and guide junior developers and team members in OIC and VBCSPrepare technical documentation, including design specs, deployment guides and support proceduresThe job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
