The position will primarily be responsible for supporting large Oracle environments in UNIX. The selected candidate should be able to support Oracle RAC on UNIX environments, troubleshoot issues and engage in performance tuning. The candidate must have good communication skills, be a team player, and be willing to voluntarily reach out for work and proactively support the team's workload.Required Qualifications: At least 4 years of Information Technology experienceBachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this timeCandidate must be located within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC and willing to work in hybrid mode from client office.3+ years as an Oracle DBA supporting large Oracle environments in UNIX.Experience with Oracle 19c along with 3 years of experience in Oracle Golden Gate.Oracle performance and tuning, troubleshooting experience.3+ years of experience supporting Oracle RAC on UNIX environments.Experience with upgrading Oracle RAC 19c and Golden Gate environments.Experience with configuration Golden Gate with multi master setup.Experience with Data Drift and handling multi master configuration.Experience with building and supporting Oracle Dataguard.Experience with shell scripting and Perl.Experience with standard Oracle tools, such as OEM, Toad, and SQL Developer.Experience with on-call pager duty.Preferred Qualifications:Should have DBA experience in financial institutions.Should deliver and execute independentlyShould review DB performance with application DBA and suggest improvementsShould interface with Oracle partners Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environmentThe job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
