This position requires hybrid work mode and needs your presence in the office for at least 60% of the workdays every week.As a Procurement Expediting Process Specialist/ Sr Expeditor/Buyer, you will be responsible of expediting overdue POs and Rush orders, following up with suppliers, buyers, end users and other areas for the timely delivery of products. You may also perform few MRO products and services purchases from local and international suppliers.Mandatory:Higher education degree – foreign equivalent, Business, Admin or relatedExperience in SAP purchasing module or similar>2 years previous expediting activities experience>2 years previous transactional procurement experience>2 years previous experience in MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul)Good understanding of the supply chain processesAble to verify all policies and procedures are applied during the purchasing process.Sound Negotiation skillsEnglish at advanced level.Excel (mid-advanced level)Good reporting skillsCapable to work under pressure in a high speed ambience.Sound analytical & interpersonal skillsEye for detail.Able to work as a team player.Able to communicate effectively with vendors and internal users.Nice to Have:Conflict resolution skills.Positive attitude.Solution provider.Experience working in a Global delivery environment is a plus.Knowledge in MS Excel Macros is a plusKey Responsibilities: Expedite overdue POs and Rush orders. Follow up with suppliers, buyers, end users and other areas for the timely delivery of products.Prepare reports related to overdue PO linesPerform some MRO and critical products and services purchases from local and international suppliers.Follow up until product / service reception.Effective attention to urgent requests.Interact with end users for information gathering and problem solving.Processing data in SAP (PR to PO, PO modifications).Follow up with the different stakeholders involved in the supply chain process until product / service reception.Client/Vendor calls handling.Technical tests coordination with end users, vendors and other supply chain process stakeholders.Audit POs processed by others in the procurement team.Manage exceptions, follow up exceptions to resolution including ensuring non-recurrenceManage the knowledge repository for the process (SOPs and guidelines) and update it on a timely basisEnsure self-compliance to guidelines and policiesEnsure that the service levels meet the requirements of SLAEnsuring proper timeliness and quality KPIs in line with targetFollowing the work instructions related to specified processesHighlight issues impacting process or team to the TLIdentification of process improvement opportunities.
