As a Senior Data Power Consultant, and will be primarily responsible for designing, building, testing, supporting and maintaining software applications, configuring and securing DataPower appliances and infrastructure and will be a subject matter expert (SME) in IBM DataPower and professional with development and design experienceRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 4 years of relevant Information Technology experienceCandidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. This position may require travel to project/client location.Preferred Qualifications:At least 2 years of experience in IBM DataPower with experience in application development and production support.Experience in XI52, IDG, X3 device. Working knowledge on other devices like XB50/52 and XC10 are added as an advantage.Experience in creating WSP, XFW, MPGW, FSH and Log targets.Experience to work with AAA policy.Experience in working with Certificates and Encryption.Experience in programming in XSLT, proficient in XML, sound knowledge on SOA, JavaScript, Webservices, SOAP, WSDL & REST.Familiarity with JSON to XML, XML to JSON, and JSON to SOAP transformations using XSLT's.Experience in creating XML schema, JSON schema and development using XSLT and WebSphere Transformation Extender (WTX) and configuration using DataPowerExperience in Error Handling and troubleshooting in DataPowerExperience in DP Extension functions.Experience in SoapUI, Postman and other testing tools for DataPower. Knowledge in JMeter is an added advantage.Experience in in software lifecycle management and understanding of testing process.Experience in Splunk and ELF.Experience in Design, build, test, document, and implement software applicationsExperience in Troubleshoot issuesProvide development, production support, maintenance and technical consulting for software components & infrastructureBasic knowledge of cloud native platforms and tools - AWS & AWS API GatewayIBM WebSphere MQ knowledgeIBM DataPower certified is good to have.Knowledge on load balancing functionality, VIPs. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
