This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.Required Qualifications:Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Plano, TX OR be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.Bachelor’s degree foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 10 years of Information Technology experienceMin 7+ years of overall experience in front-end technologies and responsive web designMin 6+ years’ experience in leading Java implementations.Required Skills & Experience:Extensive expertise in designing and implementing large-scale, multi-region cloud data lake solutions, with a focus on streaming and event-driven logging using AWS services (e.g. VPC, Transit Gateway, various connectivity options, MSK, EC2, Lambda, Glue, S3, KMS, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.)Strong knowledge of networking concepts, security best practices, and cloud infrastructure architecture.Expert level of experience with AWS container services such as EKS and ECS.Keen interest in staying updated with and adopting emerging technologies.Proficiency in defining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.Preferred programming expertise: Python, SQL, Server-less cloud programming (functions, lambdas, etc.). Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesProven track record of successfully leading engineering teams or projects.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Commitment to the organization’s vision statement and decision-making framework, understanding how team and personal goals contribute to the organization’s visionThe job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
