This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued. Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Alpharetta, GA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.Extensive experience in developing Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, Cursors, Packages and Exceptions.Knowledge of Python would be an added advantage. Expertise in database performance tuning and Unix programming.Experience in data replication within Oracle and Oracle to other DB. Knowledge on Golden Gate and QLIK replication software.Good experience in developing Programs to import data from various sources into Oracle Database tables using PL/SQL, SQL*Loader.Preferred Qualifications:Extensive experience in Oracle SQL/PLSQLExperience with ETL process for Data loading from oracle to Data Warehouse.Having good experience in deployments and production support of developed applications. Also having customers handling experience.Strong Analytical, Diagnostic and Troubleshooting skills and ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.Writes and troubleshoots SQL Code and designs (stored procs, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints)Documentations processes and proceduresUpgrades database from one SQL version to another SQL version.Provides technical support and coordination for core infrastructure components including server, network, storage, and softwareHands-on experience in oracle database design and modeling and query tuningAbility to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.Good Analytical skills.A high degree of initiative and flexibility. High customer orientation.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
