You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and ensuring high-quality releases across our web applications. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.At least 4 years of working experience in QA TestingLocation for this position is Anywhere in Canada3 to 10+ years of experience in test automation, with at least 1+ year using Playwright. Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript. Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating tests into pipelines. Familiarity with REST API testing and tools like Postman or Playwright’s API capabilities. Understanding of test design patterns (e.g., Page Object Model). Experience with version control systems (Git). Knowledge of Agile/SCRUM methodologies.Candidates authorized to work for any employer in Canada without employer based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.Preferred Experience:Develop and maintain end-to-end test automation using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.Collaborate with developers and product owners to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).Perform functional, regression, smoke, and API testing.Identify, document, and track bugs; contribute to root cause analysis.Monitor test execution, analyze failures, and maintain test stability.Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility testing.Contribute to test data management and environment setup.Good to haveExperience with Test Management tools (e.g., TM4J, Zephyr). Exposure to DevSecOps practices and tools like Snyk, JFrog. Familiarity with Docker or containerized test environments. Experience with performance or accessibility testing toolsDemonstrated ability to work under pressureExcellent verbal and written communication skillsThe job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
