Position Summary

Join Sonoco as an Inspector Packer in Forest City, NC, on rotating 1st and 2nd shifts. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the quality of our finished goods through meticulous inspection and packaging. This full-time position offers competitive pay starting at $19.75/hr (approximately $42,256–$50,500/year based on market estimates), with flexibility for overtime and weekends. Ideal for self-motivated individuals thriving in fast-paced production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect products for visual and physical defects before packaging, using strong observational skills.
• Maintain accurate production data, including scrap cause records and work order details.
• Perform physical tasks like lifting up to 50lbs, walking, stooping, bending, and using manual pallet jacks.
• Alert technicians to any quality or machine issues promptly.
• Ensure area cleanliness, follow safety protocols, and demonstrate high craftsmanship.
• Multi-task reliably while committing to quality, safety, and overtime as needed.
