Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 5 product designers, providing clear goals, actionable feedback, and growth opportunities while fostering an inclusive, collaborative culture.
  • Engage directly with retailers and internal stakeholders through workshops, usability studies, and beta testing. Ensure your team’s work helps bring each retailer’s unique brand to life on their digital storefronts while delivering cohesive, delightful consumer-facing experiences.
  • Own the design strategy and multi-quarter roadmap for retailer platform initiatives; partner with your product, engineering, and research partners to translate customer insights and business needs into scalable solutions tied to clear OKRs.
  • Guide end-to-end design across discovery and delivery (workflows, IA, wireframes, prototypes, and specs), ensuring a high bar for craft, usability, and accessibility in enterprise contexts.
  • Lead design rituals and quality gates (critiques, reviews, design ops practices) that raise quality while maintaining velocity; measure and iterate based on product and customer outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in product/UX design, delivering end-to-end digital products.
  • 2+ years of experience managing product designers, including performance management, coaching, and hiring.
  • Proven success designing and shipping complex enterprise or platform products (B2B, operational workflows, or multi-surface ecosystems) with measurable outcomes.
  • Demonstrated track record of scaling systems across multiple brands, creating cohesive yet flexible solutions that meet diverse retailer needs.
  • Deep knowledge of UX strategy, user research, and analytics with a human-centered design approach.
  • Thrives in fast-paced settings with a diverse set of cross-functional business partners, using a collaborative, problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong communicator, skilled at unifying teams and defending design decisions across distributed teams and time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in retail, e-commerce, merchandising, logistics, or fulfillment platforms.
  • Proficiency in creating omnichannel or enterprise-scale solutions bridging online/offline retail.
