Responsibilities
- Prospect and engage Small to Medium Businesses (SMBs) to sign up for an Instacart Business account.
- Use cold calls and emails to identify new opportunities, drive value, and establish meaningful connections with SMBs.
- Strong problem-solving, solution mapping and negotiation skills
- Time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize a strong go to market strategy
- Work independently while collaborating with the team to achieve individual and team objectives.
- Flexibility and adaptability to change
- A strong desire to learn and grow in the sales field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage SMBs and convey Instacart Business' value proposition.
- Partner with leadership to update sales collateral, case studies, and custom 'stories' to translate benefits of Instacart's platform to prospects.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a sales or business development role
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport and establish lasting relationships.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems like Salesforce and adept at conducting data analysis for pipeline building and segmentation.
