Senior Software Engineer, Self Serve - Experimentation
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Extending and maintaining our internal A/B testing and metrics platforms
- Implement new experimentation methodologies
- Work on tooling to help other cross-functional teams make better data-driven decisions
- Part of a small team, with a large amount of ownership and surface area given that the tooling is used by the entire company
- Suggest and drive new initiatives
- Mentor other team members and be a champion of engineering excellence
- Work closely with other teams to understand their main pain points around data and translate them into self-serve and reliable solutions
Required Qualifications
- Self-motivation and an enjoyment for a startup environment
- A strong sense of ownership
- Strong knowledge of common data infra technologies (Python, Airflow, Snowflake, dbt) in a production environment
- An ability to balance a sense of urgency with shipping high quality and pragmatic solutions
- Experience working with a large codebase on a cross functional team.
- Strong knowledge of SQL
- Strong knowledge of React
- 5+ years of working experience in a similar field/environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, computer engineering, electrical engineering OR equivalent work experience
