Position Summary
Sonoco is seeking a motivated Intern - IT Product Lifecycle Management and Supply Chain Management in Hartsville, SC. This hands-on internship provides real-world experience with enterprise systems like Agile, Oracle Fusion, Logility, and SAP IBP. You'll support process optimization, data management, and cross-functional collaboration across engineering, operations, and IT, gaining mentorship and networking opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in optimizing PLM and SCM systems including Agile, Oracle Fusion, Logility, and SAP IBP.
- Support data migration, cleansing, and validation for product and supply chain master data.
- Document business processes, workflows, and user requirements.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings to gather feedback and drive system enhancements.
- Troubleshoot issues, support end-user training, and create documentation.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and IT.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and fundamental data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Familiarity with PLM, ERP, SCM tools a plus; exposure to SAP, Oracle SCM, Agile PLM preferred.
- Basic understanding of product lifecycle and supply chain operations; SQL, Python, Power BI experience advantageous.
