Role Overview

The International Reporting Tax & Accounting Sr Analyst position at PepsiCo in Azcapotzalco, Distrito Federal, Mexico, is a pivotal role in the Latin America (Latam) tax reporting function. This full-time opportunity involves coordinating, reviewing, and consolidating all Latam Tax Reporting activities under FAS109 reports (ASC740) within HFM Cloud. You will consolidate sector-level tax requirements, provide technical tax accounting support, and assist in corporate tax projects. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate and guide market units/legal entities in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual tax schedules, resolving validation errors in HFM FAS109 (ASC740) for actual and forecast processes.
  • Review FAS109 tax schedules, offering technical support on ASC740 accounting, FIN 48 concepts, HFM reporting, SmartView, and data retrieval functions.
  • Prepare consolidated analyses for Corporate Tax and Control, including NOPBT tax, ETR for actuals/forecasts, YTD cash tax actuals/forecasts, I/C and R/E transfer matching, Non-U.S. FIN48 by country, OCI and tax on OCI (e.g., FAS158, FAS133), provision to return adjustments, accrued income tax payable roll forwards, deferred income tax roll forwards, and total pretax ETR.
  • Assist with questions and information requests from Corporate Tax, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Support corporate tax projects, contributing to automation processes and system enhancements where applicable.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in general accounting, general auditing, tax auditing, or senior tax consulting roles.

  • Bilingual proficiency in English (70% level in reading, writing, and conversational) and Spanish.
