full-timePosted: Jan 23, 2026

Job Description

Join Intuit as a Senior Product Designer on the Identity team, within the Platform and Development Acceleration Group (PDX) CORE Design team. This full-time role is dedicated to authentication experiences, focusing on shaping how customers and prospects effortlessly sign in, sign up, recover, and manage their Intuit Accounts across our ecosystem.

You will play a critical role in creating intuitive platform experiences that are smart, fast, reliable, protected, and compliant. We are looking for a designer who is passionate about building secure, user-friendly authentication experiences, a collaborative team player, a creative problem solver, a strong communicator, and a constant advocate for the customer. This position requires a solution-oriented individual who is excited to learn quickly and deliver in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. This role will involve hybrid-in-person work in the Mountain View office three days per week.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Product Designer for Identity (Authentication), you will:

  • Design intuitive and secure end-to-end user experiences: Apply strategic thinking to create seamless, compliant, and highly secure core authentication flows, including modern methods like passkeys. Translate complex visions into simple, easy-to-use designs that balance user needs, business goals, and technological realities across web and mobile platforms. Work closely with stakeholders to build trust into all identity experiences.
  • Steward the platform and communicate design vision: Utilize existing components and patterns to deliver consistent, yet scalable experiences and flows. Be a great storyteller, capable of influencing audiences by visualizing ideas and complex concepts for internal teams, partners, and customers, often through presentations. Deliver designs using key tools like Figma for design specs and wireframes, AI-based prototyping tools for design prototypes, and clear documentation for cross-functional team members in Google Slides.
  • Drive outcomes through leadership and data: Utilize facilitative leadership skills to drive the best outcomes for multiple stakeholders across a matrixed organization, fostering cross-functional collaboration with engineering, product management, and user research teams. Participate in customer research with clear goals, testable hypotheses, and learning plans, conceptualizing a broad spectrum of ideas and narrowing them based on experimentation and data-driven insights. Possess a strong point of view, supported by quantitative and qualitative data such as KPIs, funnel metrics, customer observations, and industry trends.
  • Manage complex projects effectively: Manage multiple and complex projects simultaneously, utilizing strong communication skills to manage time and expectations appropriately.

Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced product designer with:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction Design, graphic design, or another relevant field, or equivalent work experience. A graduate degree is a plus.
  • 6+ years of experience in interaction design, product design, service design, or a related field, with a proven track record in identity and authentication experiences.
  • Demonstrated experience designing authentication flows, including sign-up, sign-in, and account recovery, and a strong understanding of the associated security and fraud considerations
  • Strong knowledge of user experience methods, design principles, innovation, ideation, storytelling, prototyping, design frameworks, concept visualization, and problem-framing skills.
  • A customer-centric design mindset and proven ability to drive and apply user-centered design processes while collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in technically complex initiatives, capable of marrying user experiences with technical architecture. Prior experience in a platform team is a plus.
  • Experience designing for and working with design systems and reusable component libraries.
  • Mastery of design tools such as Figma (essential for delivering prototypes and specifications) and proficiency in Google Workspace tools like Google Slides to effectively collaborate with non-design partners.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and strategic skills to articulate complex visions through simple, elegant designs and build collaborative relationships across teams.
  • Ability to design across web and native (iOS, Android) platforms.
  • A strong online portfolio available for viewing, demonstrating your craft excellence and process.
