Job Description

The Tech 4 Intuit (T4I) People and Places Technology Engineering team is seeking a Staff Software Engineer responsible for leading technical development activities on the ServiceNow platform, particularly focusing on HR Service Delivery (HRSD) and Workspace Delivery (WSD) modules. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in both the technical and functional aspects of ServiceNow. They will use their deep technical knowledge, implementation experience, and solution architecture skills to help accelerate improvements in employee experience at Intuit.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of complex solutions within the ServiceNow HR Service delivery(HRSD) and Workspace Delivery (WSD) modules
  • Collaborate closely with HR stakeholders, product managers, and peers to understand scope, requirements, and define technical design and development dependencies.
  • Architect, develop, and secure scalable ServiceNow solutions in alignment with our technology strategy and best practices.
  • Work closely with Workday, Avature and Data Engineering teams to Integrate functionality and Data to meet all transactional, reporting, and analytical needs of our businesses.
  • Drive technical excellence and provide guidance to a team of engineers, fostering a culture of high quality and innovation.
  • Conduct code reviews, uphold coding standards, and implement ServiceNow development best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to ServiceNow HRSD and Workspace Delivery.
  • Stay current with the latest ServiceNow features, releases, and industry trends, evaluating their applicability to Intuit's needs.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, architectural diagrams, and user guides.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the ServiceNow platform to enhance efficiency and employee experience

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in HRSD and WSD modules design, development, and administration
  • Extensive experience delivering complex ServiceNow solutions and leading technical development
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills, with the ability to communicate on technical design and implementation dependencies on ServiceNow
  • Well-versed in ServiceNow architecture, platform capabilities, and a comprehensive understanding of optimal configurations and customizations (e.g., Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Policies, Workflows, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, etc.)
  • Demonstrable experience with various ServiceNow integrations (e.g., REST, SOAP APIs, LDAP, SSO) and familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  • Knowledge integrating ServiceNow with HR systems like Workday and Avature
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience in implementing NOW Assist, integrating AI features with ServiceNow
  • ServiceNow Certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, HRSD Implementation Specialist) preferred
  • Operational maintenance experience on ServiceNow and familiarity with HRIS systems like Workday is advantageous.
