The IT Finance Sr. Analyst - Project Manager role at PepsiCo in Miguel Hidalgo, Mexico City, is pivotal for driving execution and governance of Infrastructure Cloud and IT Operations (I&O) financial and back-office processes across the LatAm sector. This position ensures alignment with global practices, identifies continuous improvement opportunities, and maintains seamless operations without disrupting core fundamentals. You will manage financials for investment, baseline, and new run budgets across all S&T I&O towers and regions, oversee full P2P processes, handle vendor/contract management, and coordinate regional teams. Engage with Finance, Procurement, and MSPs to boost efficiency in this full-time position.
Lead the LatAm Backoffice team in preparing, tracking, and managing financials, including baseline and investment expense budgets. Perform monthly projections (FORECAST), asset fixed capitalizations, account debugging, reconciliations, overdue balance tracking, and invoicing to align with organizational goals.
Actively drive continuous improvement practices across key back-office processes such as vendor management, SRM, and demand management. Identify opportunities and develop ideas to enhance area development.
Collaborate closely with global vendors to deliver tangible value, engage regional teams for adherence to standards, and provide periodical reports to leadership for informed decision-making. Support global programs and business projects by tracking productivity and financials.
Coordinate a team handling day-to-day activities across regions, ensuring effective interactions with internal and external teams like Finance, Procurement, and MSPs.
To excel as IT Finance Sr. Analyst - Project Manager, you need 3+ years of experience in investment and expense budget lifecycle management, vendor management in multilingual/multi-technology environments, and designing/optimizing financial processes. Expertise in accounting, financials, forecasting, and reporting is essential, alongside previous project management experience. Advanced conversational English is required, as is infrastructure technology acumen. Must-have technical skills include Advanced Excel (Macros, Visual Basic, Pivot Tables, formulas) and Advanced Power BI proficiency.
