JOB SUMMARY

Machine Support Technician performs semi-routine equipment set-up, operation, and adjustment without supervision. Can solve normal machine running problem. Can train junior level operators.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set Up and Operate Machines: Set up and operate machines for different products.

• Machine Maintenance: Perform machine preventive maintenance according to the maintenance plan.

• Machine Adjustment: Adjust machines to meet product requirements.

• Problem Solving: Fix common machine issues, perform corrective maintenance.

• Training: Train junior operators.

• Team Coordination: Work with team members to set up machines.

• Parts Management: Keep board loaders and feeders stocked with the right parts. Prepare parts for the next run.

• Quality Control: Monitor machine rejects and ensure parts are sorted daily.

• Standards Compliance: Make sure processes and equipment meet company standards.

• Quality Checks: Perform quality checks and basic troubleshooting.

• Cleanliness: Keep your work area clean and organized.

• Other Duties: Perform other tasks as needed.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience:

  • At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience with machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting.

 

• Education:

  • Technical school diploma or equivalent.

  • Technical training or certification in machine operation or a related field is a plus.

• Skills:

  • Basic mechanical skills and understanding of machine operations.

  • Proficiency in English is a plus.

  • Problem-solving skills to address common machine issues.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Attention to detail.
