Position Summary:
Quality Technician is responsible for assisting the Quality Assurance function as technical support in issues affecting manufacturing, supporting and driving corrective action efforts.
Key Responsibilities and End Results:
Execute all activities related to the quality control department;
Manage daily tasks as per instructions from immediate supervisor;
Perform inspections according to work orders;
Collect and analyze data on defects;
Monitor adherence to safety standards and regulations;
Supervise other employees within the department;
Report findings and results to management;
Conduct audits and inspections;
Work closely with other departments such as engineering, procurement, and manufacturing;
Provide training to new staff members when necessary;
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with quality standards;
Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor;
Comply with and follow all procedures within the company's security policy.
Job Specifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required;
Experience working in a similar role preferably within the automotive industry;
Knowledgeable about quality assurance processes and procedures;
Ability to work independently;
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal;
Ability to multitask effectively while meeting deadlines;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
Fluent English language skills essential;
Ability to work in a team environment;
Excellent initiative and decision-making capabilities.
