Job Description

Overview The Asset Protection Lead plays a crucial role in safeguarding the company's assets and minimizing loss through effective surveillance and investigation techniques. This position requires a proactive individual who is dedicated to maintaining a secure environment. The Asset Protection Team Lead *will support and assist the Supply Chain Asset Protection Manager with day-to-day training, scheduling, and leading their assigned shift of Asset Protection Officers (APO) in the absence of the Asset Protection Management.*

Duties

· Maintains the staffing and execution of processes at the Facility on their shift.

· Works with the Asset Protection Team to provide Asset Protection awareness and education as directed by the APM throughout the Facility

· Ensure effective verbal communication channels are maintained with APOs and AP management.

· Assist in the development and execution of training for APOs.

· Implements various shortage control measures designed to develop leads for investigations as well as deter theft.

· Provides leadership to team members by discussing various shrinkage topics in department start-up meetings.

· Utilizes the CCTV system to monitor activities inside and outside the Facility. Conducts patrol activity inside and outside the Facility to detect unsafe conditions, physical security risks or occurrences, theft risks or incidents, and shrinkage risks and incidents.

· Preforms other assigned tasks directed by Asset Protection Manager

Skills

· Strong background in asset protection, including surveillance methods and CCTV operation.

· Excellent report writing skills for documenting incidents and investigations clearly and accurately.

· Certification in asset protection or related fields is a plus.

· Proficient in conflict management strategies to effectively handle challenging situations.

· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.

· Exemplary character, courage, integrity, and reliability

· Ability to stand and/or walk for more than 4 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

· Valid driver's license

· Computer literacy (including, but not limited to: MS Office and email)

· Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.

· Flexibility with schedule and overtime required as necessary.


Pay Range

USD $21.75/Hr -USD $27.38/Hr.
