Job Title: Senior Engineer 1

Role Responsibilities:

 

  • Design and develop scalable, high-volume enterprise applications using .NET technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
  • Own the full software development lifecycle, including solution design, implementation, and production support.
  • Architect microservices and RESTful APIs aligned with cloud-native principles.
  • Engage in design and code reviews, technical assessments, and hands-on development.
  • Apply Test Driven Development (TDD) and continuous integration practices.
  • Coordinate with QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, and SRE teams to maintain a stable development environment.
  • Support and improve pricing solutions in collaboration with product and business stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior developers and support best practices in coding, testing, and system design.

 

Technical Skills:

  • 4+ years of .NET (C#) development experience with strong object-oriented design and debugging skills.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL processes.
  • Proficiency in RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
  • Solid experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
  • Expertise in Kafka or other event streaming technologies.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, or Neo4j.
  • Strong proficiency in unit testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Stash, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
  • Agile/Scrum team experience.

 

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
  • Familiarity with Mainframe technologies like DB2 and integration techniques.
  • Retail/eCommerce domain experience.
  • Familiarity with AWS services: EC2, RDS, Redis, ElasticCache, EKS.
  • Experience with monitoring and analytics tools such as OpenSearch, Dynatrace.
