Job Description
Principal Responsibilities and Duties:
- Checks and inspects cartons to reflect accurate quantity and condition for further processing.
- Prepares cartons for processing by:
- Locating, preparing, and affixing appropriate labels
- Packing, labeling, and scanning cartons as required
- Sorting and routing cartons
- Entering appropriate information in inventory systems as acquired
- Loading, unloading, picking as required
- Performs processing activities as assigned.
- Moves cartons from one location to another, either manually or mechanically
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
Core Competencies & Accomplishments:
- Requires the ability to understand and follow general oral and/or written instructions. May involveuse of elementary arithmetic.
- Familiarity with carton processing equipment (i.e., handheld scanners)
- Requires the ability to work quickly and accurately.
- Ability to learn computer processing systems.
- Ability to determine which prescribed steps to take to resolve identified discrepancies.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Pay Range
USD $17.00/Hr -USD $21.50/Hr.
