As a JLL Intern, you will tackle meaningful projects that impact our Commercial Real Estate business by collaborating with industry professionals and providing fresh perspectives to innovative teams. Our structured program balances professional development with exciting real-world experience.

JLL is seeking a Facilities Management - Sourcing and Performance Analyst Intern based in Toronto, ON to transform contract data into strategic insights. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about leveraging analytical tools and performance metrics to optimize sourcing strategies, benchmark vendor performance, and drive measurable value through rigorous contract analysis and financial modeling.

AS A SOURCING AND PERFORMANCE ANALYST SUMMER INTERN AT JLL YOU WILL:

  • Conduct Performance-Based Contract (PCB) Analysis by deep-diving into existing facilities contracts s (e.g., HVAC maintenance) to identify gaps and opportunities for transitioning to Performance-Based Contract models
  • Research and benchmark industry best practices, market rates, and contract terms within JLL's network to identify areas for efficiency and cost competitiveness
  • Assist in defining, collecting, and analyzing Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) using facilities service data to create vendor performance scorecards
  • Use PBC data models to simulate and project the financial impact of moving from time-and-materials contracts to fixed-price or performance-based agreements
  • Support the sourcing process by gathering critical data for RFPs and documenting standardized procedures for contract evaluation, selection, and performance management
  • Assess service agreements, to ensure costs and vendor performance aligns with key business outcomes.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Currently enrolled in post-secondary education in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Analytics or related field
  • Strong analytical prowess with proficiency in Google Sheets (or equivalent) for data manipulation, pivot tables, and financial modeling
  • Demonstrates proficiency with Google Suite and data visualization tools
  • Effective at combining creative thinking and logical ideas to develop solutions to challenges
  • Natural problem-solver with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Basic understanding of facilities management and sourcing principles with knowledge of vendor management and client relationship practices preferred
