Project & Development Services - MENA

JLL Project & Development Services (P&DS) MENA provides consulting, design, management and build services to tenant and owners, leveraging technology and digital solutions to drive outstanding service delivery.

We bring a life-cycle perspective to our clients, from development solutions to our core services in programme, project and cost management and consulting in digital solutions, tenancy management, sustainability, leisure & entertainment, and workplace & design.

Role

The Junior Designer will be responsible for supporting the design team in delivering corporate projects. Specifically, the Junior Designer will assist in the design, implementation, and delivery of new projects by working closely with senior team members and clients.

What this job involves

• Assist in the development of designs and projects under the guidance of senior team members
• Prepare and develop conceptual designs, technical drawings, 3D models, presentations, mood boards, finishes boards, and other documents relating to interior design
• Participate in space planning, layout, and utilization of furnishings and equipment
• Contribute to innovative design concepts that are functional, safe, and align with client goals within project budgets and timescales
• Assist in the selection and specification of furniture, lighting, flooring, wall coverings, and artwork
• Help prepare and participate in client presentations
• Support the preparation of bids and proposals
• Liaise with team members and external partners to produce coordinated sets of drawings
• Actively seek opportunities for continuing professional development
• Demonstrate knowledge of and compliance with JLL procedures and standards
• Conntribute and assist in various aspects of the design process as required

Desired skills and experience for this

• Degree qualified in architecture, interior design, or foreign equivalent
• Able to demonstrate 2-3 years' experience in corporate interiors
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, SketchUp, Microsoft Office
