Pay: $40 - $45 / hr

Schedule: M - F; 8:30a - 5p

Lead Licensed Electrician - JLL

What this job involves:

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Maintenance Electrician to join our facilities team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across our facility to ensure safe, efficient operations and compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, motors, and control systems. Troubleshoot electrical problems using appropriate testing equipment and diagnostic techniques.

Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and service requests to minimize operational disruptions. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment conditions. Coordinate with other trades and contractors on electrical aspects of larger projects. Participate in preventive maintenance programs and energy conservation initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Current Oregon Electrical License (General Journey Level, Plant Journeyman, or LME).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, schematics, and NEC requirements.
  • Proficiency with electrical testing equipment including multimeters, and power quality analyzers.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical problems independently.
  • Experience with PLCs, motor controls, and building automation systems preferred.
  • Strong safety awareness and commitment to following lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work in various positions including standing, kneeling, and overhead work. Comfortable working at heights using ladders and aerial lifts. Availability for on-call rotation and emergency response as needed.
