Planning Manager - Data Center Development Construction

Project Location: Navi Mumbai, India

Job Summary: JLL is seeking an experienced Planning Manager to oversee Planning and Scheduling for Data Center Project in Navi Mumbai. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient execution of this complex project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive project schedules using industry-standard software

• Coordinate with various stakeholders to gather and integrate schedule information

• Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or conflicts

• Analyze schedule variances and recommend corrective actions

• Prepare and present regular progress reports to project management and clients

• Assist in resource allocation and optimization across project phases

• Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies

• Ensure adherence to contractual obligations and project milestones

• Support the change management process by assessing schedule impacts of proposed changes

• Mentor and guide junior planning staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / PG in construction management

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction planning for large-scale projects, preferably in mixed-use developments

• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project

• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and processes

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Mumbai

• Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of Marathi is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Construction Management or related field

• PMP or equivalent project management certification

• Experience working on international projects or with multinational teams

• Knowledge of Lean Construction principles and practices
