What this job involves:

JLL is seeking a Senior Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day operations for 1.2 million square feet of Class A corporate headquarters office and retail spaces in Uptown Charlotte, NC. This role manages all facility operations within a campus setting, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal requirements while leading a team of Facility Management professionals and maintaining critical relationships with third-party owners and tenants.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Managing performance and development of assigned facility management staff, including career planning and succession strategies

• Maintaining relationships with third-party property owners and landlords to ensure lease compliance and resolve tenant relations issues

• Preparing, submitting, and managing facility budgets while tracking variances and ensuring alignment with client goals

• Overseeing compliance with portfolio-wide initiatives and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations

• Coordinating comprehensive facility management services across assigned buildings and geographic areas

• Supporting collection of management fees and reimbursements from third-party tenants

• Developing monthly and quarterly variance reports on operating budgets for all properties

• Creating and implementing innovative programs and processes to reduce operating costs and increase productivity

• Collaborating with client representatives on capital and expense budget development and management

Desired experience and technical skills:

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management with management and financial expertise

• Minimum 8 years of facilities management experience in corporate environments, third-party service providers, or consulting roles

• Proven success managing large portfolios (500k+ sq. ft.) and/or multiple sites • Strong organizational and management skills with ability to balance competing priorities

• Business acumen including financial management and planning within budget constraints

• Excellent analytical skills for data analysis, problem-solving, and developing effective response actions

• Superior interpersonal skills including client relationship development and teamwork abilities

• Computer proficiency with MS Office and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)

• Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills

Preferred:

• Financial industry experience

• CFM, FMA, CPM, RPA, or CSM professional designation

• Demonstrated proactive, adaptable, and responsive work style

• Experience managing and mentoring teams to exceed client and account objectives

Location: Charlotte, NC

Salary: $134,280- $140,900 / year

The salary listed is an estimate and not guaranteed. A salary offer will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data
