Join JLL’s Occupancy Planning and Management Team

Are you ready to bring strategic vision and expertise to a world-class client portfolio? We’re looking for a Senior Occupancy Planner who can elevate workplace planning through strong data analysis, innovation, and client engagement.

What This Job Involves

As a Senior Occupancy Planner, you’ll play a critical role in developing and executing strategic occupancy plans for our clients. Your day-to-day will include:

Relationship Building

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Corporate Real Estate, Business Units, Finance, Project Management, Move Coordination, Facilities, and other Occupancy Planners
  • Gathering and reconciling headcount forecasts from various stakeholders
  • Building strong relationships with clients and internal teams

Driving Solutions

  • Developing occupancy plans and space scenarios to optimize office layouts and usage
  • Managing and sequencing office and seat moves, migrations, and relocations
  • Resolving planning issues and ensuring alignment with corporate guidelines
  • Leading site-specific planning strategies with senior leadership
  • Recommending and enforcing space standards, processes, and policies

Reporting & Analysis

  • Visualizing and presenting space utilization data to clients and decision-makers
  • Comparing actual vs. projected seat demand, supply, and capacity
  • Forecasting inventory changes and reconciling discrepancies
  • Delivering clear, actionable reports on headcount, supply, and demand

Technical Expertise

  • Creating AutoCAD test-fit drawings and space plans
  • Performing adjacency analysis and translating requirements into physical layouts
  • Collecting and evaluating space and occupancy data
  • Using CAFM/IWMS software to support planning and reporting
  • Using advanced data analysis to drive recommendations

We want to hear from candidates who are:

  • Experienced in occupancy planning, space utilization, real estate, or facilities management
  • Proficient in AutoCAD for test-fit drawings and office layout creation
  • Strong with data analysis—able to interpret complex information and communicate findings effectively
  • Comfortable meeting with clients, understanding their needs, and presenting solutions
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiar with CAFM/IWMS or other space management software
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communicators, able to build relationships and influence across diverse teams
  • Knowledgeable about workplace design trends (collaborative, mobile, flexible environments)
  • Strategic thinkers who can simplify complexity and drive results

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Architecture, Design, Construction Management, or a related field
