What will you do? 

The Contract Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the electrical analysis, design, and development of water-cooled chiller components and systems. You will provide support for the manufacturing process through the creation of wiring diagrams, panel diagrams, and instrumentation specifications.

 

How will you do it? 

  • Conduct electrical design and analysis for chiller systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards.

  • Interface with the design team to generate detailed engineering documentation, including ECNs (Engineering Change Notices) and BOMs (Bill of Materials).

  • Support the manufacturing process by troubleshooting and debugging electrical systems and resolving design issues.

  • Engage in collaborative problem solving with multidisciplinary teams to optimize system performance and reliability.

What are we looking for?  

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically in hazardous environments.

  • Proficiency in reading and creating electrical schematics and control diagrams.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and control circuits.

  • Knowledge of CAD tools for electrical design, such as AutoCAD.

Preferred:

  • Experience with refrigeration systems and HVAC applications.

  • Familiarity with industry standards and safety requirements for electrical designs in hazardous environments.
