Job Description

What you will do:

The Customer Service Manager is responsible for managing customer orders and enhancing the customer experience at the India Plant. This position demands a strategic leader with extensive experience in customer order management, who can collaborate with other operational departments within the plant to ensure that customer needs are met efficiently and effectively. The Customer Service Manager will oversee the operations of the customer service team, implement best practices, and continuously drive operational excellence to deliver service that exceeds customer expectations.

How you will do it:

Develop robust communication mechanisms with customers to quickly recognize their requirements related to order fulfillment. Provide swift and effective responses to customer inquiries to continually enhance customer satisfaction. Coordinate plant resources to review customer orders for both standard and non-standard products and communicate with customers to confirm the delivery schedule for each order. Establish and refine the plant’s sales order forecasting system to effectively guide the materials planning team in managing long lead-time materials. Promote on-time pickup of finished goods by customers to effectively manage the inventory levels of the plant. Continuously improve the implementation of the SAP SD module in the plant, making timely and accurate adjustments in SAP based on actual business needs. Proactively participate in the development and launch schedule of new products, assist in setting cost and delivery targets, and coordinate plant resources to ensure these goals are achieved.
