We are looking for a Director of Engineering to lead global regulatory compliance and certification strategies for our Global Products and Solutions portfolio. This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the VP of Engineering Excellence, with a mission to ensure our products meet the highest safety and regulatory standards worldwide.
What You Will Do
- Drive global compliance and certification programs across multiple product lines.
- Develop and implement best practices, processes, and tools for regulatory engineering.
- Monitor and interpret new regulations, ensuring timely communication and integration.
- Collaborate with Government Relations, Legal, Procurement, and Product Business Units.
- Oversee compliance throughout the entire product lifecycle—from concept to post-launch.
- Act as the subject matter expert for UL, IEC/EN EMC standards, and international certifications.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in regulatory/compliance engineering, ideally with electronic controls.
- Deep knowledge of UL certification processes and IEC/EN EMC standards.
- Strong leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage end-to-end compliance activities independently.
Preferred:
- Professional certifications in product safety or compliance.
- Experience with building automation or HVAC control systems.
- Familiarity with CE, UKCA, and global certification schemes.
