We are looking for an experienced Engineering Support Specialist to join our Fire Detection R&D team in Christchurch.

About the Role

In this role, you will be the key coordinator for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) activities within the Fire Detection R&D group. You’ll support engineering processes, drive documentation accuracy, and enable smooth cross‑functional collaboration.

What You Will Do

• Manage and process CRs/ECNs within the R&D organisation

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and resolve issues

• Develop and maintain processes and procedures

• Support and enhance the PLM to SAP interface

• Provide training and guidance to colleagues on PLM and related workflows

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an ECN Coordinator

• Strong knowledge of PLM/Windchill systems

• Experience with BAAN 560 (preferred)

• Understanding of PLM-to-SAP interfaces (advantageous)

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to balance short- and long‑term priorities

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Comfortable working collaboratively within a cross‑functional team environment
