Join our Fire Detection R&D team in Brno and play a key role in sustaining the performance and quality of fire alarm hardware used in buildings across the globe. Your Impact

As a Hardware Sustaining Engineer, you’ll focus on maintaining and enhancing existing fire detection hardware — including control panels, detectors, and notification devices. Your work will help ensure long-term product reliability, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and resolve hardware issues in existing products
  • Collaborate with global engineering, customer support, and compliance teams
  • Implement design improvements and cost optimizations
  • Support product lifecycle activities, including component obsolescence and redesigns
  • Maintain documentation and ensure alignment with regulatory standards

What You Bring

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in embedded hardware troubleshooting
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with debugging tools (oscilloscope, logic analyzer)

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with low-power analog circuit design
  • Knowledge of AC/DC and DC/DC converters
  • Familiarity with microcontrollers and embedded systems
