What will you do?

The Lean Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for implementing and maintaining lean production systems and principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Will help develop frameworks and effective ways of working in which our organization can build in the coming years. Will also ensure a fully integrated continuous improvement culture into the company and develop it further, through LEAN expertise and skills. The Lean Manufacturing Manager will achieve customer satisfaction, employee happiness and company (financial) effectiveness.

Work Setting

· 50% Production Floor.

· 50% Office.

How will you do it?

· Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice Lean vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.

· Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on Lean activities.

· Implements, promotes, and maintains a safe work environment by implementing a culture of accidents prevention, investigation, and application of rules. Lead by example.

· Manufacturing cell design.

· Calculate and control optimal capacities of production lines and fabrication processes.

· Verify Time standards and calculation of earn hours per family products.

· Facilitating A3 problem solving.

· Designing future state value streams.

· Create technical documentation (standard work sheets, OMS, ODS, FMEA, DFAM etc.).

· Contribute to the advancement of the organization in the JCMS.

· Supports sharing of best practices as a result of internal and external benchmarking activities.

· Evaluation and modification of layouts of production lines and production cells.

· Drive process related activities for New Product Introduction, from early planning stages on into full production.

· Coach, mentor, and train Manufacturing Technicians within the Manufacturing team.

· May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
