What you will do

The role of Mechanical Engineer reports to the Senior Mechanical Engineer, based in Thailand. Demonstrating your knowledge of engineering principles, and working closely with the senior mechanical engineer, you will design, develop, and test mechanical components, and equipment of our air handling units, and support various activities to serve our customers in the data center industry.

Work location: Chiangmai, Thailand.

How you will do it

  • Design equipment and units to client specifications.
  • Review, evaluate, and improve upon engineering schematics and specifications prepared by the client and their consultants, ensuring designs are safe, efficient, effective, and practical.
  • Prepare technical documents, including drawings, datasheets, schematics, technical submittals, presentations, and reports, etc.
  • Collaborate with a team with diverse backgrounds to effectively communicate on various project activities.
  • Support site commissioning activities and issue resolution in a timely and efficient manner. Support quality department in dealing with site quality issues and root cause analysis.
  • Support factory production activities and technical inquires.
  • Support senior engineer in other tasks to ensure successful project execution and enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Experience in undertaking Root Cause Analysis
  • Must be proficient with AutoCAD. 3D modelling experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English essential. Chinese language skill preferred.
  • Willingness to travel to various locations as required.
