What you will do
Join Johnson Controls as a Network Operations Engineer and become a key part of our global team! This short-term role offers valuable experience supporting our network infrastructure across the EMEA region.
You'll manage troubleshooting, monitor network health, and engage in proactive incident management. Collaborating with our employees and cross-functional teams, you'll resolve issues effectively and enhance our services.
How you will do it
Incident Management: Conduct proactive monitoring and troubleshooting to prevent service outages, ensuring swift restoration when needed.
Problem Management: Develop solutions to streamline incident management processes, creating root cause analyses and efficient troubleshooting procedures.
Operational Readiness: Prepare and complete checklists to ensure smooth pre-production deployment of network services, enhancing operational excellence.
Change Management: Coordinate change implementations and facilitate quality reviews with engineering teams.
Service Requests: Execute service requests and support proactive maintenance activities to ensure optimal infrastructure health.
Process Improvement: Take ownership of specific improvement tasks to enhance technology, services, and processes.
What we look for
Required
Experience in supporting a multi-site enterprise network.
Competence in incident management, service requests, and problem-solving.
Familiarity with Cisco/Meraki LAN, WLAN & WAN technologies.
Understanding of the BGP routing protocol.
Experience in an ITIL-oriented environment.
Preferred
Knowledge of OSPF routing protocol.
Experience with firewall technologies such as Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.
Familiarity with Cloud Services - Azure, AWS, GCP.
CCNA certification or equivalent.

The gross monthly salary for this position starts from 2,500 EUR per month, plus a monthly bonus that starts after your first 6 months. Please note this is a minimum salary and our compensation packages are based on your professional experience and qualifications.
