What will you do?

Supervise the team of buyers and work with suppliers, production, materials and inventory management to ensure the appropriate materials are available to meet the production schedule; coordinate with inventory to time the shipment of specific materials in line with production schedules and inventory goals; and works with suppliers to procure the appropriate materials for production

• Plans, organizes, directs, and controls activities related to the Purchasing function.

• Prepares instructions regarding purchasing systems and procedures.

• Analyzes market and delivers conditions to determine present and future material availability.

• Supervise buyer- purchasing standard work

• Lead Purchasing activities, and inventory management.

• Monitor PO place, expedites, have conferences with suppliers and Lean alignment

• Interacts with Engineering and Quality departments on new products and/or revisions to existing products as well as quality parts.

• Serve as the Purchasing ethics/compliance representative.

• Supervise external and internal compliance audits.

What are we looking for?

-Bachelor's Degree completed

-5+ years of experience in a related Purchasing role. 

-At least 2 years of experience in a leadership position (must)

-Previous Supply Chain experience (planner, buyer/procurement, warehouse)

-Proficiency in a Windows operating environment, including e-mail and Microsoft Office software.
-2 years of experience in SAP -material master/MM ( must)

-Business/conversational English is a must due to the nature of the role.
