About the Role

As part of our growth strategy in Security Service, we are seeking an experienced Security Service Business Development Manager to join our NSW Service team.

Reporting to the Security Sales Leader, you will be responsible for proactively hunting new security service opportunities and minor works across both new and existing customers.

We are looking for someone with strong technical understanding, customer focus, and a proven ability to drive sales activity and business outcomes.

Technical Knowledge Required

Minimum comprehensive understanding of:

• Commercial Intrusion Alarm Systems

• Electronic Access Control

• CCTV

• Intercom

• Duress Systems

• Quoting small to medium rectification works

Key Responsibilities

• Secure new bookings and meet margin targets each quarter

• Drive daily sales activity to deliver business objectives

• Maintain a strong customer focus and understand customer buying processes

• Champion a safe working culture

• Support the Service Branch with quoting activity

• Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Electronic Security industry

• At least 3 years in a high-performance sales environment

• Advanced Microsoft skills; experience with SFDC (Salesforce)

• Miller Heiman, MEDDIC or equivalent sales training (ideal)

The Ideal Candidate Will Also Have

• 5+ years in an Electronic Security leadership or similar role

• Demonstrated success working collaboratively to deliver results

• Experience with security control systems such as C-Cure, Gallagher EACS, Gallagher High Security (Type 1A/Class 5), and Lenel (certifications preferred)

• Experience with CCTV platforms (American Dynamics, Exacqvision, Genetec, Milestone)

• Strong networking systems knowledge: routing, IP addressing, VLANs, PC skills

• Australian residency, valid driver's licence, and security licence

• AGSVA Security Clearance (NV1+) or eligibility (Defence/Govt sector applicants)

• Strong work ethic, urgency, and a customer-first mindset

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently while contributing strongly to a team
